Upfront security amount
Pay the camera's security amount up front. Rental and any film are deducted from it.

Bring a valid student ID at collection to qualify for the student deposit.
The listed security amount is the total collected up front. Rental and any purchased film come out of it. After an on-time, undamaged return, we refund the balance. For example, RM21 rental from RM400 leaves RM379 to refund. Late-return fees or damage costs may reduce this further. If rental and film exceed the upfront amount, we confirm the remaining balance before booking.
A late return is charged at a flat RM30 per day, for any camera, and is deducted from your deposit before the balance is refunded. Message us before your return deadline if you need longer — extending costs less than returning late.

If equipment is damaged, lost or missing, the repair or replacement cost may be deducted from the security deposit. For example:
If the total cost exceeds the security deposit, the customer may be responsible for the remaining amount.
We don't want you worrying about every tiny scratch. We only deduct for real loss or damage.
Before handover we photograph the camera front, back, lens, battery and film compartments, display and accessories, and check it again on return. It protects both of us.
